Cornus are a North American native and are known for their springtime blossoms, showy bracts, berries and distinctive bark that can range in color from green to yellow to orange and red. Very hardy and adaptable, this shrub is easy to maintain and not fussy about its growing conditions. The summer fruit is loved by birds and wildlife.
This extremely hardy dogwood is great for the variegated green and white foliage and red twig color in the fall-winter, birds are attracted to the white summer berries, fall foliage will turn all shades of red and purple, this is a vigorous shrub that will grow in just about any soil.
