Bubblegum pink flowers bloom in the late winter, between February and April, upward facing and lovely. Evergreen foliage is leathery with pretty, silvery-pink marbling and a compact habit, making Dorthy's Down a great container plant, mass planting or border. Winter flowers are nice for indoor cut arrangements. Deer resistant. Drought tolerant.

Common Name: Lenten Rose

Evergreen plants that are prized for their very early spring bloom and long bloom period. Foliage is thick and leathery. Plants are quite tolerant of shade and will form large clumps if left undisturbed. Well-suited for the woodland garden.

Parrans stock a very large inventory of flowers, hanging baskets, containers and vegetables. However we cannot guarantee availability of specific plants. Shop early in the season for best selection.
