Common name - Plantain Lily. Small, adorable miniature hosta with perfect form, small round blue-green leaves are slightly cupped and resemble little mouse ears, leaves have excellent substance and form a perfectly tight little mound, lavender flowers bloom mid summer, 8"Htx12"W.
Very popular and undemanding perennial. Grown mostly for its decorative foliage, plants remain attractive from spring till frost. Most flower mid-July to early August. Hosta prefer partial shade, although a few will tolerate sun with adequate moisture. Use as a ground cover, for edging, or as an accent plant in the shady border. Attracts hummingbirds.
