Very popular and undemanding perennial. Grown mostly for its decorative foliage, plants remain attractive from spring till frost. Most flower mid-July to early August. Hosta prefer partial shade, although a few will tolerate sun with adequate moisture. Use as a ground cover, for edging, or as an accent plant in the shady border.
Medium, the foliage of Dancing Queen will emerge and stay yellow throughout the summer unlike other similar varieties that eventually turn green, yellow color is most intense in part sun, leaf edges are ruffled for added interest, lavender flowers occur in late summer. Attracts hummingbirds, songbirds and butterflies.
