A unique, clumping perennial with spiraled foliage. Combine with trollius, houttunyia, lizard's tail or ligularia for a delightful blend of colors and textures. Cultivate in a container or plant at water's edge in a consistently moist area. Prefers acid soil. Is drought tolerant.
