Beautiful burgundy, upright spikes of large fan-shaped flowers bloom from July through September. Adapts well to "wet feet" or boggy places as well as average conditions. Attracts butterflies and hummingbirds. Toxic if eaten.
Uses: bedding plant, container, cut flowers.
