Tiny violet blooms on 12" spikes over rosettes of bronzy purple foliage. Loved for its foliage that changes colors, from burgundy when young, turning purple in summer and then red in autumn. Self sows. Thrives in well drained clay or sandy or poor soil. Drought and heat tolerant once established. Remove spent blooms to keep it blooming.
