Thyme is a versatile plant available in a range of colors, forms and scents. Low and spreading or upright and bushy, there is a thyme to suit most any situation. Excellent as a small-scale ground cover, planted at garden's edge and in herb gardens. Most varieties have a delightful aroma and are very flavorful. For winter use, you may dry or freeze leaves, or grow in a container indoors.
